A equação do Torricelli é : V2 = Vo2 +2.a.delta S.
Vo= 72 km/h = 20 m/s.
V = O m/s
delta S = 50 m.
02 = 202 + 2.a.50
100a = -400
a = -4 m/s2
a aceleração é mesmo negativa porque como o carro está freiando é uma desaceleração.
A equação do toricelli é : V² = Vo² + 2 . a . delta S.
Vo = 72 Km/h = 20 m/s.
V = o m/s
delta S = 50 m.
02 = 202 + 2.a.50
100 a = – 400
a = – 4 m/s²

Agora que sabemos a aceleração utilizaremos a equação horário do movimento S = So + vot + 1/2at² , como vo = 0 temos :
S = So + vot + 1/2at²
S = 0 + 0 x t + 1/2 x 0,4 x 20² .. realizando as contas
S = 80 m
Portanto sabemos que AB mede 80 metros.
b) Consideram C um ponto qualquer e sabendo que a aceleração do ciclista é 0,4 m/s²
vc = vo + at … vc é a velocidade em C
vc = 0 + 0,4t
vc = 0,4t .. como não foi fornecido nenhum dado sobre o ponto C a velocidade ficou em função do tempo.

Bom, olha só pelo que eu saiba la na resposta da ana e do alexander não precisaria mudar o número 100 de lado e sim fazer a conta assim:
V²= Vo² + 2.a. DeltaS
V=0 Vo= 20 DeltaS = 50
Resposta :
0² = 20² + 2.a.50
0= 400 + 100 a
a= 400/100 a= 4
Então a aceleração introduzida pelos freios é de 4 positivo.
