Exercício:
Numa montanha russa os carrinhos partem de um ponto A com velocidade nula. Determine o valor mínimo de H de modo que os carrinhos consigam fazer um loop. Dados : R=2,0m ; g=10m/s2
Primeiramente, acho que o exercício deve ter algum desenho.. Como vc não explicou como é o desenho, vou fazer do jeito que estou imaginando. Vou imaginar que o carrinho está em um local de altura H, e vai descer para fazer o looping. Mas, se estiver errado, poste novamente EXPLICANDO as condições do exercício se houver figura e fornecendo todos os dados, por favor. Obrigado.
Para que um carrinho faça um looping, é necessário que a força centrípeta no ponto mais alto do looping seja igual ao peso, para haver uma situação de iminência de queda.
Assim: Fcp = P
m.v^2/R = m.g
v = raiz de 20 m/s
Essa é a velocidade necessária no ponto máximo.
No ponto mais alto, temos que a energia mecânica é:
Emec. = m.g.h + m.v^2/2
Emec. = m.10.4 + m.20/2 -> 40m + 10m
Emec. = 50.m Joules
Pelo princípio da conservação da Energia Mecânica:
E0potencial = Emec.
m.g.H = 50.m
10H = 50
H = 5 metros !
