*- Nos verbos, qndo se trata de algo em terceira pessoa ou de objetos, vc tem que usar o -s ou o -es no final da palavra, tipo “likes”, “takes” e “helps”.
Mas, qndo o verbo “do” é usado como “does”, ele já traz a ideia de que vc está tratando de algo na terceira pessoa, então o próximo verbo vc não adiciona o -s ou -es.
Por exemplo:
É certo falar: She likes you. Pq estou tratando na 3a pessoa.
Mas seria errado se eu fizesse uma pergunta assim: Does she likes you ?
Errado, porque o “does” já trouxe a ideia de que to me referindo em 3a pessoa.
A explicação é essa. Para te ajudar na recuperação, tome como regra, bem simplista por sinal, a seguinte condição:
– Em perguntas, se houver 3a pessoa, vc “tira” o -s ou -es do verbo principal e passa pro auxiliar “do”, o que vai deixar ele na forma de “does”, e o verbo em sequencia se manterá igual.
– Em frases não interrogativas, se houver terceira pessoa, vc coloca o -s ou o -es no verbo principal normalmente.
